Word count bookmarklet

This word count bookmarklet searches through the page you’re on, and attempts to report the word count of the selection. It will first look for the text selection, and if there is none, it will search for a textarea that has a selection. It should be working in Safari and Firefox, and possibly even IE and Opera.

its only the third week of school & i’m already falling behind in work. my class took a diagnostic test for algebra 2 first day of school to brush up on our algebra, failed it. then before we got back our tests, she warned us that the more problems you got wrong, more worksheets we going to get. of course, lucky me, i got a 50% so that equaled up to 21 worksheets. this is due monday & i still have 8 more worksheets to go but the only problem is, when i took algebra eighth grade, i was amazed i passed to geometry when i got my schedule freshman year. i really dont know anything so i’m having a hard time with the worksheets because its alll the things i dont know which is why i got it wrong. i’m also close to failing science right now, i was absent the day we took a test & when she passed back everybody elses’ i just remembered i didnt take it. i talked to her & she said she’ll just have to figure out another way to make it up though. then spanish 2 has hella freshmans, they’re all really smart. they never have their hand down! its hard for me to get bravos & i need 4 sets of 15 a quarter. i swear i’m late to history everyday, coming from the main building to the koffman takes up all my seven minutes. since theres no seating chart, its first come first serves. you’d think the seats left would be the front row but its the crap back ones that has a bad view of the board. worst part of my day is after lunch, i have pe. i hate pacers, i’m a weak runnner & for some reason we started off this year with 25 in stead of 15 like last year. we doing push-ups & sit-ups too, call me girly, i cant do push ups to save my life. but its okay, after pe i have english, best class of the day. have to blog weekly & i dont know how consistent i can be, but i’m trying. not exactly sure if this is too personal? but this is my post for this week.
