Chinese Word of the Day


砰 - Peng1 - Sound of Crashing, Thunder, Bang

This is the way the year ends — not with a 砰 - Peng1 - Bang, but a 嗚咽 - Wu1 Ye4 - Whimper. We both caught some kind of sickness over Christmas, and now we’re stuck at home on New Year’s Eve.
