I have to say, you personify the typical american butthole. Travel all the way around the world just to take lame pictures of yourself in front of mcd’s and other bastions of american corporate slobitude.
That being said, one of the girls we work with claims that the best pizza in the world is at Chinese Mcdonalds. That statement is just far too brainblowing on too many levels. Can you corroborate?

We specifically went to McDonald’s to see what they have there that is different. We found that not only do they have nothing different (no pizza), but the regular food is worse! The burger patties in my Big Mac were small and dry and tough, which shouldn’t be surprising, but they were even smaller and dryer than normal.
I guess they did have one different thing: apple pies stuffed with green bean paste instead of apple. Chris tried one, it wasn’t really any good. Overall, quite disappointing after the egg-burger in Japan and the special iced coffee with condensed milk in Taiwan.
One of our tour guides was quite nationalistic and referred to the McDonald’ses and KFCs as “cultural pollution” and the Starbuckses as “American Opium”.
