五Chinese Word of the Day 五 - Wu3 - Five Today Java 五 came out. All the insanity of Sun’s version number scheme is captured in that one URL: is it Java 5? Or is it Java 2? Or is it Java 1.5.0? It’s all three! My dictionary also has this character: 蓰 - Xi3 - Increase Five Fold. I immediately searched for simliar characters meaning 4X and 3X, but didn’t find any. Strange? Word of the Day
