藏Chinese Word of the Day 藏 - Zang4- Tibet, Storehouse 西藏 - Xi1 Zang4 - Tibet We tried a Tibetan restaurant today, Little Tibet in Middletown. The food was only fine, nothing very memorable. In fact, the most memorable thing was the very uncomfortable chairs. As for Tibet itself, it’s another one of those troublesome parts of China, like Taiwan. Luckily for us, the Chinese government has provided plenty of information setting the record straight. Word of the Day

Damn you! The first thing I did today when I got into work was to dig up as much Tibet information as possible, only to discover you’d beaten me to the punch. If only I had internet…. then I tell you, things would be different. This is just like the old BBS days, when I would get home try logging in so I could go first in that Risk type game, discover that someone was already logged on, assume it was you and call and concede defeat, meanwhile you are logging in on the other phone line, invading the Ukraine. By Gods! This will not fly!
