Truck dismount is just about the best game ever!! So far I can get abour 36000 points, but I\’m slowly refining my technique, soon I bet my score will at least double..

Wow.. only a few minutes later, and I got a new personal best, 50000. The secret? I somehow got him to fall in between the cab and the trailer, and he bounces around and crunches in there for awhile, racking up MAD points. Too bad you can\’t save your settings and have other people upload them.. or can you?

Huh. I thought I did pretty well by getting him to fall on the ground, run over by the truck twice while it was moving forward, and then run over again when the truck bounced back off the wall. But I don\’t think it was as high as 50,000.

you know that this oldguy is not a game person nor does he usually even LIKE games, but I installed and played both and on my second try with the truck driver one I got 169686 by squishing the guy between the cad and the wall then squeezing him up onto and through the windsheild. I can\’t wait to show these to Mitchell!!!

I have decided that my absurdly high score must have been an error or an anomaly, since nothing higher than the low fifty thousands has been acheived since.

WITHOUT hacking, my current best is 218770 - if I added it into the database I\’d be 8th, but I\’m waiting for an even better score!

My highest score so far is 57k. Got the truck to go over the ramp, hit the wall, flip (ejecting the guy) and then land upside down on the guy.

Going to experiment with some other ways to inflict pain…

Crushing the guy under the truck, or between the truck and the wall doesn\’t give you as many points as you deserve. Watching Toto play yesterday, I think the winning strategy is to keep the guy in motion as long as possible.

This is to Loserbait and those others who seem to be able to rack up the +100k and +200k scores: How on earth do you do it?

i love truck dismount - my high score is only in the 80k range- and i am totally puzzled how people are getting over 200k.. please share how you do it.

This setup only yields 45K-52K, but it\’s fun to watch: You can set up the man in the cockpit (no glass) with a ramp, so that the truck hits the wall, throwing the man against the wall. The man bounces against the wall. While he\’s falling, the truck is moving backwards from the impact, but the front wheels bounce off the top of the ramp, \”scooping\” the man back into cockpit, who then bounces inside for a bit. It looks like something out of a Roadrunner/Coyote cartoon.

Did you know that you can him fly up at the beggining if you put a ramp under him in position 6?

Yeah, I knew that. If you do it just right, you can get the truck to hit him, making him fly into the wall. You can even get him to then bounce back into the truck again!

I managed 106K through luck - but what happened was, from position 4 and a ramp early on, the man got his head stuck in the wall at the end and took constant damage to it!

My top score so far is 210379. I think what I did was probably a glitch in the game, but its a high score and it looks cool too.

I left ramp 1 at its default distance and put ramp 2 as close to the wall as I could. Then I made them line up with the truck. I put the guy in position 4. When he hit the wall, his head, left leg and left arm all got stuck in the grill. It game me a ton of points.

Like I said, its probably a glitch, but it was cool as hell.

just downloaded it today can u guys tell em can u actually get him 2 go thru the windshield??? i found the best way 2 get points is position the ramps 2 get him 2 flip over the wall :):)

I got 129,150 points by getting the guy in position 4 and lauching off a ramp into the wall. This stuck his head through the windshield getting me a ton of points

great game !! to have the guy launch over the wall.have the guy in position 2. Have glass on. have the guy and ramps positioned at the center.speed max.then have one ramp as far from the truck possible and one as close as possible

anyone who gets over 150,000 points is either: a. lying b. glitch or c.hacked it (if possible)

I got 155k just now with Mr.Gone\’s setting (but tweaked a bit)

I always figured it has to be that glitch (I usually only gets 40-50k with this glitch) but this time I hit the jackpot… still, 210k… a long way to go >_

There\’s something unsettling about somebody named \”maliciousScript\” leaving a comment at my weblog.

I just got my new record - 156 K where our hero had his head and neck stuck in the windscreen for the duration of the set. This was once again from position four with the two ramps in similar positions to their default longways and both central. I found that by moving the guy even slightly to one side or another I got completly different results!

So, when you have the scores saved, if you click the button after viewing a saved replay, it\’ll reset everything to the defaults - however, if you hit spacebar instead, it\’ll give you back the exact settings that you used to get the high score. Incidentally, I\’d be very interested to see the settings that someone has used to get the 200,000+ scores.

UnnamedPlayer: That\’s a really nice trick! It\’s too bad there\’s no easy way to communicate the values of the sliders, though. Fine adjustments can make a huge difference.

I can get 214k. If anyone wants the pic, email me that you want, and I can send you the settings. You just have to line the picture up with the actual game, so it\’s perfectly overlapping the picture. Then just change the settings to make it exactly how I set it up. :)

Jesus I cant elieve people are getting so high my friend just scored 62 and i was impressed, i really dont know how people are getting 200k +, all i can say is it must be funny as hell!@

I try to get him over the wall. I was succesfull in all positions without pos 5. Its great fun too.

The best i\’ve gotten is about 100k. That was with mr.gone\’s settings. So much for being a leader! Besides that I\’ve gotten 80k because his head got stuck in the wall and underground.

My highest score is 187,000 without cheating at all. The secret is to have a windshield on, and set DJ right in front of the windshield. Then launch at about 75% speed. Have a ramp at about the 40% and 35% line in the middle. Adjust it until DJ gets squished between the truck and wall, at best his head it wedged INTO teh windshield and bobs back and forth for about 100k points.

I want to know how to get over 200k.

After 2 days of playing this truely awesome game i was able to attain 210k!! I caught his head and it bounced back and forth like a ball and paddle, i think im now ready to retire…I have pics to show settings and score, but no webspace :(

Sorry guys, got a hot score for you.. 959111 points.. bounced his head into the wall from Pos. 4, both ramps lined up. he bounced back and forth about 5 times with his head, got stuck in the windshield, and then continued to take damage until he fell out of the truck. Got pics, if u want.

P.S. It wasn\’t hacked, but I\’m sure it was another abuse of glitch..haven\’t gotten it to happen again with the same settings.. :-(

Help! How do I edit the physics, I want to cheat but I don\’t know how. I assume you need to edit the truckdismount.dat but I don\’t know what to edit it with!

\”Army of Lemurs\” on AIM, Hey. The music in Truck Dismount is ANYTHING but relaxing, and ANYTHING but trance. It\’s craptastic music. Stair dismount\’s music was annoying, but at least it was tollerable. Truck dismount\’s music is just torture.

I got the bastard to fly over the wall. You can use the ramps to catapult the driver into the air, meanwhile, the truck drives for the ramps, jumps in the air, catches the driver at the front, the driver bounces toward the back, the back wheels hit the ramps… the back of the truck flies… the driver flies…hits the outside edge of the wall, falls off the fall… ~60K.

Put two ramps under the guy in the beginnig (postion 6) and it bounces twice as high than with just one.

put the guy in position 6 place 2 ramps under (guy must be at the top of the ramp) him put leave narrow line between the ramps place the guy in the narrow line and he’ll stuck between the ramps really fun to watch!

yeah you can get the guy stuck his head either in the windshield or in the bumper at the front of the truck, or you can get him under your truck on a ramp….all of em wound him permanently, but unfortunately the time ends after some seconds so you can’t really get many points by doing this…..

my high score is 81444…i got him stuck in the front of the truck under the windsheild. this game is so mindlessly violentish i love it!

got the guy to start inside a ramp and fly into the truck. also got 6 million ways to get him over the wall.(two ramps at opposite side in center, max speed, guy in pos. 3) High score 59,059 by having ramp at closest to wall and guy slightly to the left (from the wall to truck view) and truck at max speed.

I think the damage physics in this game are fuqed, I mean you can squash him against the wall with the truck, and only get 10k points, where he racks up 10k points by just sitting in the cab riding straight.
