我好討厭洗碗 – Wo3 Hao3 Tao3 Yan4 Xi3 Wan3 – I really hate washing dishes.
討厭 doesn’t actually mean “hate”. Zhongwen.com translates it as “disgusted with”, but we don’t think that’s quite right either. It’s kind of like a combination of dislike and annoyance. You might also say it if things aren’t going your way, or if somebody is bothering you. 討厭!
Also 洗碗 doesn’t actually mean washing dishes! It really means washing bowls.
