  2. Hey. I bet you don\’t have the Unicode hex value memorized for each ideogram. Which input mode do you use and how can one learn how to do it.

  4. This b2 doesn\’t deal with Unicode very well so I usually use a site like zhongwen.com to figure out the hex values for any characters I need to type.

    Another cool trick is to use the Chinese input mode, type some characters into Mozilla Composer, and then save the page as ISO-8859-1. It converts all the characters to entities.

    It\’s very hard to input Chinese text unless you can read it. The input mode I use (Chinese Traditional – Pinyin), you enter the romanization of each character, but that is usually ambiguous and you have to choose which character you mean out of a menu.
