More boring leaf stuff
Jenny told me that they finally came around to pick up the leaves. I told her to quickly secretly take pictures!
It turns out it wasn’t as high tech as we thought. They just rake up the leaves…
And then use this thing to grab them up and dump them in the truck.
No Mr. Snuffleupagus after all.

i would like to point out that my mother had the job of using the big leave sucking machine. I believe she controlled the giant tube.

I\’m not sure if this is just an urban myth, but I remember when I was a kid hearing about the leafmen using the Snuffleupagus to suck up leaves, and when they got back to the leave dumping station they would empty the big piles of leaves and all sorts of kittens would fall out of the truck, because I guess little kittens like to play in piles of leaves, and the Snuffleupagus doesn\’t discriminate against leaves or kittens. Maybe I should send this story into mythbusters.

Another update on leaves: Driving to work this morning, I saw the Snuffy truck! They were using it on a different street.
I\’m considering filing a lawsuit under the Equal Protection clause.
