Yeah, I know the Japenese kanji are not always exactly the same.  I guess at some point in history the Japanese adopted the Chinese characters, and since then both sets have been evolving independently.</description>

Well, you mentioned about Japanese use traditional Chinese characters, but  Japanese also simplify some Chinese  characters. For example, they write &#32317; as &#32207; (that means \&#039;total\&#039;), &#26371; as &#20250;(a community), and &#22283; as &#22269;(\&#039;a country\&#039;) and &#23565; as &#23550; (to) and so on. :)</description>
