蝦 – Xia1 – Shrimp
We had a barbecue today! It was raining! We didn’t care! Best rainy barbecue ever.
One of the best things to come off the grill was 三瞄’s 蝦 with 沙茶醬 – Sha1 Cha2 Jiang4 – Sand Tea Sauce — Tea Sauce.
(for you anti-shrimp people out there: you’ll be happy to learn that the character for shrimp is based on 虫 – Chong2 – Insect!)
