    動く = ugoku = to move

    動物 = doubutsu = animal

    動物園 = doubutsu en = zoo

  4. oh yeah, i forgot, if you take this kanji and add the person radical you get this:

    働く = hataraku = to work

    so a moving person is working.

  6. Huh, that isn\’t even a word in Chinese as far as I can tell. Work is just 工 – Gong1.
