Very cool! This is something I\’ve always wanted to do whenever I got \’around to it\’. I\’m glad someone had the same idea.
Categories would be nice. It would also be nice to be able to sort the panel descending by number of new entries. And to edit the titles. And to have read-only pages available for my blog readers (since they should really be reading what I\’m reading).
Have you considered starting a project at sourceforge?
A read-only page is another of my priorites. There\’s two ways I could do that:
1) a PHP page that shows items in various ways based on query string. This page could be included in another page to create a sidebar.
2) a set of PHP functions you can call to bring back sets of items. (or an object?) You can then call these functions in your page and display the items however you like.
2 is more flexible, 1 is easier to use. Maybe I\’ll just do both.
Sorting the panel and editing the feed titles are (now that you\’ve mentioned them!) sort of obvious nice GUI things to have. I\’ll get to them sometime.
I haven\’t thought of starting a SF project, but that would be a good way to get a bug reporting system and message boards and CVS and some other things for free… hmmm….

i should tell you that fof is exactly the application i\’ve been looking for. thank you so much.
one suggestion tho. categories. :)

That\’s great! You\’re the second person today to request categories, so there\’s a good chance that will go in.
