Found this article linked up over at Boing Boing about how “SUPERTASTERS” avoid extra bitter foods, which protect against some types of cancer.

I guess that means I’m all set since Jenny feeds me 苦瓜 (bitter melon) all the time. When they say bitter melon, they really mean it! That thing is SO BITTER! (they also have 酸菜 (sour vegetable), which lives up to its name too.)

The other side of the coin is that SUPERTASTERS don’t like overly sweet or fatty foods and tend to be thinner. Jenny self-describes herself as a STUPIDTASTER and doesn’t have this problem.
