  2. Man, that\’s awful. The only good thing I can see is that they\’ll bang out both sequels this year, so we can get it over with by the end of November. No prolonging the baloney fat like Star Wars. If I see bullet-time again I\’m gonna go GWB.

  4. Did you watch the trailer? It\’s like non stop bullet-time the whole way through. Either that or their new gimmick which is 8,000 agent Smiths all simultaneously quipping one liners.

Here\’s the weird thing. I saw Matrix, and learned that Agent Smith is evil. Then I saw LOTR. When they went to meet Elrond I was screaming in my head \”NOOOO!!! FRODO!!! DON\’T TRUST HIM!!! HE\’S AN AGENT!!!!!!!!!\”

Over time I was reprogrammed to understand that that guy is a good guy. But now, when I see the Matrix trailer, I think \”why is Elrond being so mean to Neo? and where\’d he learn that kung fu?\”. By the time LOTR 3 comes out, I\’ll be back to thinking of him as a bad guy, and I\’ll be confused again.

Anyway, who cares what you think, you don\’t count, you\’re one of the only two people in the universe who didn\’t like the first one.

  8. Flame wars… What\’s next? A slashdotting? Hackers? Mention in the NYT? Pagerank 7, or 8, or 9? Jumping the shark? Shutting down the site with a long boring rant about how I need to rethink my whole life?

  10. …how does Toto know what \”baloney fat\” means?

He is one of the only humans other than me to use the expression.
