Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore – secret menu?
I played DOA2:HC (thanks Toto!) long enough to open up the CG Gallery, and at the same time some sort of other secret option opened up on the mode select screen. It’s in between Options and CG Gallery, and it says “???”. When you select it, nothing (apparently) happens. What is it?
(by the way this DOA2:HC is the sort-of-prequel to the game I almost got the poster for at the Tokyo Game Show, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, which comes out in the US at the end of this month, but only for the stupid Xbox.)

so the item gallery right…..how many items are there and how would I know if I collected them all and if I have is there something “cool” that will happen? cause I have been busting my ass off to get the fucking item shit so if theres something cool about that shit I’d like to know thanks….well have a mindless day

The ??? you see is the collection of your items. To unlock it u have to go to survival mode and collect at least one item

The item gallery helps you get more costumes, mainly by use of stars. The stars only show if you have bayman and tengu, and are still rare (but….if you collect 200 of the things, you have all costumes!). The easiest way to get items is to start the survival match, open your disk tray (the music will go off) defeat the enemy, then keep hitting them for more items. (note: each person has their own set of items, so dont only use one person) if anyone has any more info i left out (ie. the last item on the list, and how to get it) please let me know. Thanks.
