Transformers GoBots???
OK, we were watching Tokyo Pig this morning, and I saw a commercial that made my brain explode. Apparently Hasbro is now marketing a new line of toys called Transformers GoBots!!! This is insane! For those not in the know, Transformers is to GoBots as Apple is to Microsoft. They’re both lines of transforming robot toys that were locked in a struggle for the minds and hearts and parent’s pocketbooks of kids in the 80’s (ie, me). So to see one toy branded as BOTH… Horrifying.

Screw Gobots, they were stupid. Even when they were transformed you could still see their faces.. that was so dumb. And don\’t get me started on that giant gobot dynosaur that had the giant red bulls-eye target right in the middle of it\’s stupid chest.

I was stupid, and wanted GoBots for christmas that first year that both were out on the market, but somehow my parents were really smart and bought me Transformers instead.
Just like the time we were trying to figure out what type of new computer to buy after the Adam and I wanted the Apple IIgs, but my Dad randomly bought an Amiga 1000 instead. And that made all the difference.

I agree that that Go-Bots from the 80\’s were stupid, but, these go-bots are not them. They just have the same NAME!! These Transformers are for Preschoolers. You know the little youngs who are too young to play with nomal Transformers. These toys are made for them so they can have fun and wont miss out the Transformers. These Transformers Go-Bots are like a combination of a preschool toys and a normal Transformer. So they\’re made for the little kids. And even easy to transform into a robot and back for them to do by them selves. I\’ve seen a though around like Aero-Bot and Strong-Bot. So Remember these are not the 80\’s go-bots, these are whole new toys just for the little kids to play with!!!! OK!!

Right, I have seen this in stores. Tranformers for very young kids. No Leader-1, and no Cyclor.
